Lynn Wood, also known as The Pottery Texture Queen returns for another popular hand building clay workshop. Working with templates, slabs and textures we will construct basic lidded forms then explore a variety of ways to alter and personalize each piece.
Each participant will be able to go beyond the basic construction.
Exploration will include a teapot variation and a few surprises!
And of course texture will be involved. Everyone will go home with some new pots and new skills.
We will bisque fire your work (Cone 5 B-Mix clay) for later pick up if you wish.
Come join the fun and meet our community!
Our classes are filled with artists at all levels, art teachers of all grade levels, and art enthusiasts who share their ideas and techniques.
And Continuing Education Units are available.
Bring your favorite hand building tools and a bag lunch. Food is available at nearby restaurants and a grocery store.
$48 for teachers, $70 for non-teachers
