Jacqueline Mallegni
Website: www.mallegni.com Jacqueline Mallegni’s artwork is an expression of non-dualistic thinking relative to inner strength and fragility, of the inner-connectedness to all life, of dying and re-birth. She uses “washi” (handmade paper) and natural materials to create minimalist sculpture. The natural materials are held with intention and respect for their integrity and individual voice. Change is constant in the natural world: an alchemy of matter, systems, and elements in metamorphosis. She engages in the transformation of materials physically and emotionally. |
